Custom-made parts out of PE, PA, POM, PEEK, PEPT

Murtfeldt produces custom-made parts of various construction types from small batches to mass-production.

Trendsetting and sector-specific

Nowadays, companies are increasingly specializing, concentrating on specific niches, supplying custom products, and using special plants and machines. This individualized approach is a decisive factor for any company that wants long-term market success.

Our product range is aimed at practically every sector that uses high-quality industrial plastics. These sectors range from the food and packaging industries to automation and medical engineering. Possibilities are limited not by the application but only by today's state of technology.

Shaping the future

Custom production is an important focus both today and for the future. We too are receiving an increasing number of inquiries for mounting parts to be produced on the basis of drawings or CAD/CNC drawing data.
In addition, e-manufacturing - the production of custom mounting parts using electronic data only - is already an important part of our daily work. We are looking forward to meeting your requirements in the future, too!

Benefits for you

  • Parts manufactured in line with your own specification
  • Even small batches can be produced at economical prices
  • Parts produced from drawings or samples - which either you or we have provided
  • Free of charge advice on the material selection, material-appropriate desing and, above all, relation to the use of our plastics

State-of-the-art production facilities

Our production facilities are state-of-the-art and offer multivarious capabilities of machining

Our machinery at a glance ...

PA - Polyamide

Polyamides (PA) are semi-crystalline, linear polymers with good mechanical properties and good chemical resistance to organic solvents. However, they can be easily attacked by acids and oxidising chemicals.

Polyamides (PA) are often used as construction materials on account of their outstanding strength and toughness, and excellent sliding behaviour.

Murtfeldt uses these thermoplastics to produce individual finished parts for machine construction and plant engineering.

PE - Polyethylen

Polyethylene (PE) is a thermoplastic, semi-crystalline, non-polar plastic. The different polyethylenes are distinguished by their molar mass (molecular weight), which determines the physical properties of each type of polyethylene.
They are characterised by their excellent chemical resistance, good electrical insulation and good sliding behaviour.
However, only the mechanical properties of PE-UHMW, the type used by Murtfeldt, are very good. This type of polyethylene is therefore outstanding when used as a technical material for use in machine construction.

POM - Polyoxymethylene

Polyoxymethylene (POM) is a semi-crystalline, high molecular weight thermoplastic, characterised by its excellent rigidity, low coefficient of friction and outstanding dimensional and thermal stability.

The key features of this polymer, which can even replace metal in many cases, are its excellent toughness at -40 °C, good abrasion resistance, low coefficient of friction, excellent thermal resistance, good sliding properties, good electrical and dielectric properties and low water absorption.

Murtfeldt uses this high-performance plastic wherever high levels of resistance are needed and exceptional requirements must be met.

PET - Polyethylene terephthalate

Polyethylene terephthalate (PET, previously also known as PETP) is a thermoplastic, semi-crystalline, unreinforced polymer with very good dimensional stability and is characterised in particular by its outstanding wear resistance and low coefficient of sliding friction.

Further features of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) include its resistance to slightly acidic solutions and good strength.
